D Day August 8th 2013

July 22, 2013
On August the 8th the final stages of the first fitting of computers will get under way. The project has had many twists and turns over the last year, we have changed locations,  changed shipment arrangements, got involved in UK Charities as well. But now the main goal of the Project 300 Team will start when the schools we promised computers to begin receiving their stocks. The target of 300 will take some time to achieve simply due to logistics and internal issues within the Philippines that present difficulties to those people wishing to help children learn.

We have mastered many things and the stage of getting dirty with the computers and fixing them into schools will be the very best part of the last year. The first fifty will have been completed by the end of August. One thing I have learned is you can get four computers into one big box if you are lucky, however in the same size box you can get twenty laptops and the focus of the next year will be collecting lap top computers capable of running Windows XP for the 2013-2014 part of the scheme.

changes to delivery of items to Philippines
